BULLCHECKâ„¢

All Telemon Bulls undergo a full Autralian Cattle Veterinary BULLCHECKâ„¢ examination prior to sale, including:

  1. Physical Evaluation of Structural Soundness

  2. Scrotal Examination and Measurement

  3. Crushside Semen Assessment for live sperm, progressive motility, concentration etc

  4. Independent Morphological Assessment at Laboratory

This is the Gold Standard of testing, designed by the Australian Cattle Vets, to give the best indication of a bull's breeding potential. A minimum set of standards is denoted to ensure the bull in question has a high probability of being fertile.

This testing will only be undertaken by ACV Accredited Veterinarians, and an Independent Morphologist, for quality assurance to our buyers.

Kylie Stewart-Moore has had BULLCHECKâ„¢ Accreditation since 2014 (registration number 5091) and is an active member of the ACV. However, occasionally other accredited veterinarians may be employed to undertake the screening process.

Morpohology is included to give the best possible indication of a bull's breeding capability. Strong links have been shown between good sperm morphology and other favourable traits such as adaptability and offspring fertility.

We supply this screening service as yet another quality assurance test for you to select quality bulls with peace of mind.
